Our Dental Hygiene Services
We provide a wide range of dental hygiene services, tailored to your individual needs and performed within the scope of practice of a Registered Dental Hygienist in Alberta. Our focus is on providing effective and practical solutions for your oral health.
Preventive Care
Dental hygiene and periodontal assessments, radiographs (x-rays), professional teeth cleaning (scaling), air polishing, and fluoride treatments. Preventive care supports the maintenance of healthy teeth and gums.
Periodontal (gum) Care
Periodontal assessments, scaling and root planing, and ongoing maintenance are provided to support gum health. This type of care may be recommended for individuals with signs of gum inflammation or periodontal concerns, based on their individual needs.
Oral Health Education
Personalized oral hygiene instruction, home care recommendations, and nutritional guidance related to oral health. Education is provided to help you make informed decisions.
Collaborative Dental Care
As an independent Registered Dental Hygienist, Kahla may provide dental hygiene assessments, radiographs (x-rays), and dental hygiene therapy based on your individual needs. If concerns are identified that require a dentist’s care, referrals can be arranged. Collaboration with other dental professionals supports appropriate and timely care.
Clients may choose to receive all of their dental hygiene care at Grinn Dental Hygiene, or continue with their existing dentist for exams or treatment while attending Grinn for dental hygiene therapy (cleaning) visits only.
If treatment is required that falls outside the scope of practice of a Registered Dental Hygienist, this care is provided by a dentist. Clients may choose to see their existing dentist, or a referral can be arranged. Communication and coordination of care can be supported when appropriate.
